I've died

You say you hate me. I'm sure now you feel free. You say I put you down. All I can do is sob, cry, and frown. You say you're better off without me. At this point, I truly agree. When we're on the phone, I try to atone My actions and flaws. But only because I thought of you as the best person alive. I try to contrive A 'plan' to get you back. What I can't make up for, I lack. Together, we've laughed and cried. But now, I feel as if I've died.
